UUM has been drawn in Group C together with International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and University Technology of Melaka (UTeM) in the MASUM Division 1 Soccer Carnival scheduled for May 23rd to May 31st 2009 in UUM Sintok, Kedah Darul Aman. The draw took place at IIUM, Gombak. The carnival will see 15 teams competing against each other in four different groups and at four different venues around UUM. Top two teams from each group shall proceed to the quarter finals and later to the next stages. This competition will also see three teams from this tournament being promoted to the Premier League in 2010. IIUM is the favourite team to proceed to the next stage in Group C with UUM as host, will definitely give their best to be in the top two in the group.Wednesday, April 8, 2009
